Location: Rustenburg, South Africa

This state of the art administrative building is intended to serve to sister organizations; the Rustenburg district Health services and the JST Hospital Admin offices. A site was identified at the JST Hospital Site and a proposed brief to cater for a staff compliment of 200.

Currently, the district offices are in various office clusters of rental stock and this creates an obstacle in their inter-departmental operations and coordination. At the JST Hospital, the staff is currently housed in mobile homes having hard the admin offices converted into a ward previously.

The facility has some shared common spaces such as the conferencing facilities, the main reception lobby and ablution facilities. Passive means of lighting and ventilation are highly accentuated in the building and the client insisted on a building management system (BMS) to achieve a higher green building rating. The Project is still in its early planning stages.
